This series of bikes were first introduced in the year 1997. ER-5 first came in to markets with low engine capacity of 498 cc giving out a power of 48 HP. Two parallel cylinders in the engine is the only advantage of this bike. The maximum speed of the bike was only 185 kmph with a moderate pickup. They had only conventional brake system with expandable brakes. The fuel capacity was 17 liters. But later to meet this special modern need of the user Kawasaki introduced six series bikes. They were designed based on modern automobile technology. The engine capacity was increased to 650 cc with a horse power of 72 hp at 7500 rpm. They used ultra modern braking system which has two floating petal disc at the front and the back. This ensures perfect safety and stability to the user. The new fuel injection system with throttle bodies controlled electronically adds to its beauty. The conventional suspension and shock absorbing systems are used to obtain a good damping ratio. Moreover the design of the bike giving an enchanting sport look has attracted the buyers.

In this modern busy world people use bikes to reach their destinations faster. So it’s obvious that they don’t have sufficient time to maintain their bikes. But periodical maintenance of the bike has become more essential to achieve consistent performance. First and foremost unit that needs maintenance is tyres. Minute flaws and pressure of air in the tyres should be checked periodically. Mileage of the bike is greatly dependent on the condition of tyres. Maintenance of tyres also ensures safe ride without skidding and somersaulting in the wet roads. Proper lubrication of the components should be done .Another important thing to be considered is the level of oil in the engine. Engine should be periodically for optimum level of oil or else the piston may get jammed leading to severe damages. Brakes should be altered based on the needs of the rider.

This series of bikes was introduced in the year 1988 by Massimo Tambourine at Cagiva research center. These bikes have a odd feature of having a cassette transmission style and the engine with valves that are radial in shape. The engine is 1078 CC with an ultra fuel injection system and one touch ignition system. These bikes use an effective torque shifting system which provides high starting torque characteristics. The suspension system include inverted fork coated with a special material called Carbon-Nitride. The single sided swing arm present in the shock absorber provides a comfort ride during high speeds in the speed breakers. These bikes have a special type of braking system with floating disc brakes at the front and single disc brake at the back. The engine of these bikes gives out a power of 183 HP at very high rpm. These bikes have got places in the top fastest bikes of the world. There are many bikes in this series with attractive specifications.

This bike was introduced in the year 1999 especially for the racers with some attractive features. It was actually given a serial name of GSX1300R, later the name HAYABUSA was derived from Japanese history. Hayabusa means a bird that is capable of flying at high speeds. Modern HAYABUSA engine has a large capacity of 1340cc giving out a high power of 197hp at 7000rpm. The special type of throttle valve in the engine manufactured by SUZUKI itself increased the performance and life of the engine. The maximum speed of the bike is 303kms/hour with a high pick up of (0-180) kms in a short time of 15 seconds. This bike used a odd disc brake system with tokico calipers in the front and a attractive hydraulic brake system at the back. This hydraulic brake system ensures perfect safety and stability during sudden brakes. The modern suspension system with a telescope in the inverted fork and a adjustable spring provides a better damping ratio increasing the overall performance. The exhaust system used in the bike satisfies all the regulations of the environment protection and pollution control board.
